In this work, I wanted to capture a moment of childhood where everything still feels open. At that age, we don’t yet know our limits. The idea of what is possible has not been defined, so we allow ourselves to dream, believe, and act freely. The scene of boys playing football, a casual kickabout, becomes a way to speak about this feeling. A simple kick and a first goal turn into something bigger than the game. It is a moment of discovery, when effort and imagination come together and shape how we begin to see ourselves.
The low horizon and wide sky reflect that openness, where nothing feels out of reach. This work is about that brief time before we start measuring ourselves, setting boundaries, and learning to doubt what is possible.
